Description:
Construction of a pre-engineered metal building for solid waste transfer operations as well as a maintenance and staff building, scalehouse and paybooth. The project involved extensive storm system sitework in addition to asphalt paving, retaining walls, push walls and the installation of vehicle and truck scales. All work was done while keeping the facility open to the general public.

Description:
Renovating and building two structures at the same time, including a 15,000 square foot addition on the existing elementary school and total renovation and abatement of the 25,000 square foot middle school within the summer vacation. Though the undertaking was monumental, BOSS substantially completed this project ahead of schedule to allow classes to take place after the summer break. The work included demolition, wood framing, mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, all finishes and classroom cabinets in both buildings.

St. Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church Steeple Repair

Description:
Removal and repair of a 100 foot high historical copper steeple and bellfry as well as structural columns and bracing under the belfry. The design consisted of new steel columns to replace wood yet keep the original wood exterior. The work included removal, inspection and repair/replacement of all ornate wood moldings as well as the design of an anti-bird protection system to shield the refurbished bell and new structure.

Description:
The addition of a gymnasium and classrooms totaling 13,300 square feet. Sitework was also performed including a new parking lot and the resurfacing of existing playgrounds. The addition of a wood framed gymnasium and classrooms totaling 13,300 square feet. In addition to the building sitework, work included utilities, fire loop, new parking lot and the resurfacing of existing playgrounds.

Blaine Triplex Relocation

Description:
BOSS took an existing triplex from the new location of the Peace Arch Border Station, cut it in three pieces and moved it through town to its new location. The triplex was set up on a new foundation, hooked to all utilities, brought up to code requirements with a new fire sprinkler system. Exterior improvements included landscaping and siding work.
